| 授業概要 Course Description |
The second half of Introduction to Creative Writing will follow the same principle as the first: writing enables us to better understand ourselves and the world; also it helps to create connections within our communities and humanity as a whole. This semester will continue to give you the opportunity to use language in creative ways to produce writing that is unique to you.

With the above approach in mind, this semester will introduce four genres of creative writing: memoirs, two types of poetry, and oral histories. As before, we will explore effective samples of these genres but also you are encouraged to find a writing voice that is uniquely your own, even if that means breaking conventional guidelines.
