| 授業概要 Course Description |
This course introduces students to a range of topics in the field of linguistics. In this semester, the focus will be on the variety of languages in the world; their underlying structure; their channels of presentation (speech, writing, sign); created languages; language death and revitalization; and the use of technology for manipulating language.

As a result of completing this class, students will:
