授業概要 Course Description |
Course Description: Stories exist all around us, or at least we’re primed to think so. It’s how our brains interpret information best. Give a set of seemingly random events a beginning, middle, and end and, as humans, we will sense a meaning there.
Stories swing elections, they tell us what to connect with and why to care, they are what myth and legend are made of, and what all of our memories boil down to in the end. In this class, we are going to explore their power and learn how to tell them.
|
到達目標 Class Goals |
Class Goals: By the end of this course, you will be familiar with several storytelling forms (presentational, poetical, fictional, musical, autobiographical) and will have experience infusing your own work with those techniques. Having had your time in the spotlight, you will be more confident performing and taking creative risks with your work. And finally, most valuable, you will develop an eye for story.
