Students will learn the basics of Academic Writing, working from paragraphs to essays. Students also develop oral communication skills through group discussions and presentations.

1. All students, regardless of their English language levels, must speak English at all times. Enthusiastic class participation is expected and continuously assessed.
2. No more than two unexcused absences are allowed. Absence over two classes is grounds for failure. Tardiness of three times equals one absence.
