| 授業概要 Course Description |
This is course is a survey of premodern Japanese poetry. Students will read classical Japanese poetry in English. Students will discuss the historic, aesthetic, religious and socio-political context of different literary periods to gain a better understanding Japanese literature.
This class will be taught face-to-face unless two-way live delivery remote class using tools such as Teams and Zoom via Manaba is requested by Meiji Gakuin University according the Covid-19 risk assessment.
