| 授業概要 Course Description |
This course, following from the first semester, will focus on improving students' listening and pronunciation skills through intensive listening exercises emphasizing the comprehension of speech. The textbook and other sources will be used for a variety of exercises, specifically involving listening to increasingly longer speeches and lectures in English and reflecting on patterns of spoken language.

| 到達目標 Class Goals |
Students will obtain skills to improve general listening and pronunciation. Such skills will include improved intonation, note taking, responding to listening segments, awareness of the rhythm and stress of spoken language, recognizing patterns of speech and so on. Tasks will increase in scope and complexity for this second semester. Listening segments will be longer and student responses should be become more thorough and detailed.
