| 授業概要 Course Description |
This course will allow students to activate and further develop writing skills learned in Academic Writing A. Activities in class will include instruction on sentence structure and paragraph organization. The process writing approach will be employed by the instructor, whereby students will submit their work, and advice will be given as to organization, content, mechanics, vocabulary usage, etc. Then, students will revise and rewrite for a 2nd and a final 3rd draft.

The goal of this writing course is to enable students to effectively write university-level essays. Students will learn skills in researching a topic, organizing an essay, and clearly expressing themselves in English. These skills will be used to write one expository essay over the course of the semester. This essay will include quotations and the use of references.
