| 授業概要 Course Description |
This course builds on the basics of academic essay organization and integration of sources established in the first year writing course. Students will further develop their writing skills and advance them into more complex structures for academic purposes.

Develop strategies for comprehending and critically analyzing texts, typical forms of
English academic essay organization, process writing, and citation practices; integrate own ideas in writing with those read, using texts as support for a position, arguing against texts, and/or presenting new alternatives or solutions; and produce original ideas informed by existing conversations on the topic.
