| 授業概要 Course Description |
This is a required course for all ?rst-year GTS students. The class will introduce you to major issues and key concepts associated with globalization and transcultural interactions. Students will be divided into three sections, and they will work with three professors who specialize in political science, cultural studies, and economics. Each professor will guide a section for four weeks and then rotate to another section. There will be three such rotations. During the semester we will have 2 or 3 sessions where all three sections will be in class together. And at the end of the term, we will have an academic advising session for all students.
Further details will be provided just before the semester begins. Students will submit their written assignments online on manaba. A detailed syllabus will be uploaded on manaba and will be explained on the ?rst day of class.
