授業概要   Course Description This course will focus on topics in Macroeconomics which is the study of the economy as a whole. Important topics include National Income accounting, Inflation index, Savings and Investments and Banking and money supply. There will be some simple calculations that we use in this course. The course will be conducted on campus, in a hybrid form depending on the number of students who are unable to come to campus.
到達目標   Class Goals The goal of macroeconomics is to explain theories and phenomena that affect all households, firms and markets in the economy such as booms and recessions, unemployment, inflation etc. This course will help students understand the reasons behind changing prices, the differences in income levels across countries, how governments promote a rise in incomes and stabilize employment. By the end of the course students will understand how national incomes, inflation and unemployment rate are calculated, why some countries grow faster that other countries, how the banking sector operates etc.
