授業概要 Course Description |
This course will consist of ETHNOGRAPHIC STUDIES ON JAPANESE POPULAR CULTURE. Students are asked to commit themselves not only to the academic better-understanding of Japanese popular culture (hereafter JPC) through weekly undertakings in class, but also to some extracurricular team investigations of sociocultural phenomena that signify JPC - fruits of which shall be summarized as field reports and presented in class.
※ DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE if you are simply curious, or having time to waste! You are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO ENGAGE IN THIS COURSE so long as you are enthusiastic and willing to acquire seriously, think intellectually, investigate empirically, and thereby achieve greater academic skills by means of delving into JPC and Japanese culture, society and/or history that beset JPC from the standpoints of social sciences and humanities!
※Connoisseurs, talents, performers, and industrial agents who are currently enrolled in our Faculty are welcome - so long as they are willing to share experiences and insights as a part of our intellectual enhancement in this course!
