| 授業概要 Course Description |
This course is primarily intended for the 3rd year students in their 2nd semester who will write Graduation Projects in the following year. In this course students will learn how to conduct research and fieldwork for a graduation project by joining Prof. Vesey in research on Enoshima as a religious site and tourism. This will include survey tours on the island, secondary readings, and archival work. In the last 1/3 of the semester, students will develop their own research proposals that will be the basis for their 4th year graduation projects.
This fall there are three sections of the course, and each professor will teach methods related to their fields. You should select the professor whose area is closest to your topic or research interest. Prof. Vesey’s section is most suitable for students who are interested in cultural studies, history, general humanities, and Project B.
