授業概要 Course Description |
【The course is designed as "Self-directed learning", thus it is suitable for students who want to challenge yourself to engage in social activities outside the campus, experience the planning and strategies practice with your teammate (not taught by teachers) and interested in social entrepreneurship based on your real-world experience.】 Thus, it is desirable to limit the maximum number of students up to 20 ppl.
Throughout the whole sessions, students will learn the concept of service learning and experience service activities as a direct experience. Students are requires to directly engage in volunteer (service) experience - work as a volunteer -as mandatory during sessions. In addition to the direct “service” experience, students will deepen their learning through (i) Self-directed Learning, (ii) Peer-to-peer Learning and (iii) Experiential Learning. All students are required to join dialogue and group-work in order to think their own service actions and strategy. This series of lectures requires out-of class volunteer experience at least 2 times by mid-July if the situation allows. Students will be required to develop your volunteer action idea by your own small group (around 4-6 member in each group)
