| 授業概要 Course Description |
This class will be two-way live delivery remote class provided by Teams. This course will mainly consider various gender relations of the contemporary Japanese society from sociological and cultural perspectives.

・Students are expected to understand and critically analyze the basic characteristics of gender relations in Japan through the various readings and class discussion.
・Students will have critical perspectives on “normal” everyday life that initially appears no need for analysis.

For KC students, you are expected to take at least one of recommended prerequisite classes such as Introduction to Sociology A or Introduction to Sociology B or Introduction to Social Anthropology before taking this class. (Or you can take Gender and Society and one of those classes at the same time.) If you have not taken those classes but are very interested in taking this class, please let Prof. Aiba know your situation.
.This class will be provided by face to face. If a student wants to take this class by remote, please apply to and receive approval from Kyomua before hand.
