| 授業概要 Course Description |
The course will discuss important issues in contemporary Japanese society, with the purpose of fostering a critical stance towards discourses around Japanese society and some specific topics related to it. Lectures will be uploaded in advance to leave plenty of time for in-class discussion. Films will also be shown.

- Reflect on the evolution of Japanese society in recent years through detailed scrutiny of some key issues.
