You will engage in on or off campus teaching or teaching assistant activity to gain experience and basic skills in teaching in the ESL/EFL or CLIL classroom. You are also required to attend classes that focus on the various elements of teaching English or other languages as a second or additional language.

This upper division course is intended to develop your interest and knowledge in language acquisition and communication across cultures, international educational exchange, and learning organizations. Specifically, this course develops basic skills in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) and upon successful completion of the course, obtain the Certificate of Completion.

You are required to teach or support teaching as TA for the minimum of 18 hours or 12 periods (each 1.5 hours) and observe an ESL/EFL or CLIL class for a total of 3 koma or 3 periods (each 1.5 hours)other than the one in which you are assigned as TA.
